August YIN + PINS Workshop

How does deep rest and relaxation sound? Winter is a sacred time to shift from the hustle and bustle of the warmer seasons, and turn our attention inwards. This workshop will allows busy city peeps to find their rhythm with nature again, and wrap up in warm and gentle practice.

And not only do we have the time-honoured practice of yoga at our benefit in this workshop, but the ancient modality of acupuncture as well!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, each season is associated with particular organs, and in Winter (the time of deep nourishment and stillness) we pay particular attention to the Water Element (Kidney and Bladder meridians). This candlelit workshop will help set us up for the new season ahead!

What you'll get:

  • 2 hours of one-on-one attention and yin yoga in an intimate venue, tailored to the Winter season.

  • Alice, a fully accredited and practicing acupuncturist, will be using super-fine acupuncture pins to help the body nourish and restore during Winter. The points we are going to use are located around the lower legs, wrists and head (or ears with ear seeds if you don’t want pins!), and they belong to Kidney and Bladder meridians.

  • This workshop is slow and supportive, with lots of props, so is suitable for all levels. Everything is provided - you just bring yourself!

  • Receive take-home notes to continue your practice at home! Plus goodies to treat yourself and top up your heart.

If you want a reset & an unwind, this extra-special workshop is everything you need.

It's time to exhale, and come home.
